Our standard colour lead time is within 5 working days for unglazed systems, or 10 working days for glazed systems.
Non-standard colours are subject to the following lead times:
- RAL colours : 2 week lead time
- Woodgrain : 3-5 week lead time

We offer trickle vents if required by building regulations. Please contact us if you are unsure if you require trickle vents as regulations continue to change. Trickle vents can be added to either an addon or in the panels.
Glazed and Unglazed Systems
Glazed Systems
The glass our suppliers provide with their bi fold systems is 4mm planitherm total + 20mm thermal warm edge spacer bars with argon gas cavity. The total overall u value = 1.2W/m2k. If this isn’t suitable for your project then we can arrange alternative solutions with better U values from our glaziers. We also offer Integral Blind units.
Unglazed Systems
ALL bifolds are prepared for a glass unit thickness of 28mm overall as standard. If you are purchasing IGU’s yourself then please state this when ordering or let us order them for you.
If you are sourcing your own glass then please ensure the glazing meets the required Building Regulations. Door glass must be toughened or laminated safety glass to pass Building Control regulations.
We can take no responsibility for any glazing / building regulation failures that occur from self sourced glazing units.

Aluminium Door Delivery Information and Lead Times
Once you place an order with Bi Folding Superstore we will notify the manufacturer and confirm a production slot and delivery time frame. From here on in the product is in production and is almost on its way to you. All our doors are delivered to you fully made unless you request otherwise. Please ensure access is possible for the size you order and a suitable team of people are available to handle the system on arrival. FLAT PACK is available at no additional cost. Please notify us when ordering if this is required.
